My approach to nutrition...

With all of the confusion out there today about what is right and wrong when it comes to eating, I created Body Good Food as a space to share my holistic approach to nutrition and bring back balanced and happy relationships with food and our bodies.

I believe the food we eat must be wholesome, nourishing, balanced and enjoyable. There are too many stressors in our hectic lifestyles; we don’t need food to add to the list. In my opinion, the ideal healthy relationship with food is one that does not restrict, deprive, or take-over the mind. It is consistently relaxing, enjoyable and nutritiously good for the body and mind.

One thing that is an absolute must is that eating healthy MUST NOT compromise on taste or enjoyment. Say goodbye to boring tuna salads and steamed vegetables with chicken. I will show you ways to cook with veggies so that they can be the hero of your dish and you will still love what you are eating!

I have a passion for encouraging connection and enjoyment with quality, seasonal food and I aim to help you appreciate food for more than just its caloric value. Many of us have lost touch with the seasonal cycle because we have placed so many restrictions on our diet or because we buy for convenience from big chain supermarkets that import food from across the globe.

My approach to nutrition will help you get back in touch with the beautiful, seasonal produce we have available to us, while inspiring you to cook simple, healthy, and delicious meals that will ignite your love for cooking and all things healthy eating.

Yes, there is always room for wine and chocolate (self-confessed chocolate lover here 🙋) but when you begin to appreciate quality, nutritious food you will find that balance and fall in love with eating BODY GOOD FOOD :)
