CHOC-INI SMOOTHIE
Oct 14, 2020Smoothie season has started and with that always comes a lot of questions around how to balance a smoothie to get the right nutritional balance. My advice is to keep fruit to a minimum, always pack in the veggies and make sure there is some complex carbs, healthy fats and protein.
Serves 1
Ingredients
1/2 x zucchini
1/4 x avocado
2 tablespoons oats
2 x prunes or 1 x Medjool date
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1 teaspoon spirulina/greens powder (optional)
1 cup coconut/nut milk
1/2 cup water
Directions
Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth. Add more water to reach your preferred consistency.
